Do people eat Giant Squids? Anyway it looks a bit small in the water. Why don't we sail far away from Singapore into the deep blue sea and look at the Giant Squid swimming in the water?

Ruben,
You can be a diver in future and you can tell us about your discoveries.

Jun Wei,
It's a rare species. There are squids bigger than that. It's considered small among its species.

According to the article, the squid is considered small becuase it's female. The males are bigger.

way can it be rare

But without the article how are you going to tell if it is female or male?

Anonymous said...

Ruben,
There must be some tell-tale signs on the squid to differentiate the male from the female. Perhaps you can do some research on this part and tell us during good news gazette!

Ok! I'm going to find out more about it and tell about the giant squid during my good news gazette!

Dear Jun Wei,
that squid is a medium size squid for that is a female squid. There are tiny squids smaller than that. do you know the squids you eat , there are smaller than the ones you eat.

Hi Ruben,

Have you done your research? You can do your good news gazette next week before school closes...

Are big squids extinct? May I know,

please.............!

anyway i do not like eating squids!

Anonymous said...

I don't think so Pristina. If they are extinct, this big squid will not appear.

Wow!The squid is sure big.Anyway,I am scared of squids.Do squids have different colours?

That's a good question Hubert. The squid looks differentin different pictures. Maybe it's because of the lighting. If I'm not wrong, this big squid is whitish in colour with some stains of red.
