Oh, I am so scared, I am worrying the most about Chinese, and I haven't finished studying Chinese.

I wish the school could hold the SA2 exams AFTER the PSLE marking days, so that we can have more time for revision.

Don't feel too stressed. Just do your best. There's nothing to worry about if you have given your best shot. I have faith in all of you. :)

Why did you have 2 injections?

Anonymous said...

Thank you, Ms Chua, for the chocolate and the piece of paper.

Hey! You are welcome! I know many of you are stressed. So am I. We are all in this together. Don't worry. It will be over soon. Just be very careful in your work.

Pristina, why did your mum give you 2 injections? To prevent you from getting sick?

The germs are very fierce and they so my mum wanted me to recouver faster.

Ms Chua, when do we use "shall" and when do we use "will"?

Anonymous said...

Shall usually goes together with we and I in questions. For example - Shall we go out now? Or Shall I visit grandma today? Shall in these questions refer more to asking for permission.

In sentences, shall is usually together with we and I. For example - We shall go out now.Or I shall visit grandma today. Shall in these sentences emphasize the fact that you are going out or visiting grandma.

Will is usually be used together with all pronouns (I, we, she, he, they, it)Will refers to the future. The meaning is different from shall.

Thank you very much :-) What about "you". When do we use "shall" or "will" for "you"?

The pronoun "you" is also used with will. We don't say "Shall you..." It's not right.

Whereas in sentences, it is all right to use shall with you, we, she, he, they, it (in fact all the pronouns). Not just we and I. This is to clarify the earlier explanation. The meaning in using shall in sentences is different as it emphasize something that you are doing.

Please work very hard for Mathematics and try your best to get good results.

As for English, don't worry. Everyone in class should be able to pass.

Dear Ms Chua,
How hard is the maths paper going to be?Eventhogh it is going to be hard, i still think maths is the easiest to get good marks.

All the best in your Math exam tomorrow. Don't forget to write out each step clearly for the word problems, especially fraction word problems. Even if it seems easy, you need to show each step clearly. If not, I can't give you the marks.
