My holiday trip!

I went to Malacca recently. Found a very unique Peranakan restaurant "The Baba House". It used to be the house of a rich Peranakan.

Entrance of a restaurant

You must be wondering where the tables are since it's a restaurant. Look closely at the inside. Well, it was quite a grand entrance.

Many good photo-taking spots...

There's even a staircase leading upstairs to the bedrooms. No food allowed of course. ;)

Restaurant menu

The cashier is behind this counter.

The street outside the restaurant...Doesn't it remind you of Chinatown?

I went to Malacca too! I went to see the red "gu cheng". That restaurant in the photo looks like one of the places in the show "The Little Nyonya".

Hi Amanda,

Finally someone visited the class blog. It has been so quiet lately. Where's everybody???

Did you go to Jonker Street? The place where they sell many things along the street? How many days were you there? I think the show is nice. I have been watching it recently. :)

I went only for about a few hours as it was on the way back to Singapore.

I checked the blog everyday but nobody post comments on the blog. My parents said I was crazy checking the blog as everybody was on a holiday.
